Bonjour Avez des membres du forum a eu des problèmes avec de l'essence égouttements du carburateur après l'arrêt du moteur? Si oui, comment le problème a été résolu. On m'a dit que ce typique de 1930 du carburateurs Solex.

:GB: Greetings HAVE ANY FORUM MEMBERS HAD PROBLEMS WITH PETROL DRIPPING FROM THE CARBURETOR AFTER STOPPING THE ENGINE? IF SO HOW WAS THE PROBLEM SOLVED. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THIS TYPICAL OF 1930'S SOLEX CARBURETORS.

Hi

If petrol is leaking after stopping you have to look the "pointeau" the part that is closing the intake of petrol pushed by the float

Anyway i allways close the petrol tap when stoping the engine

I ALSO CLOSE THE PETROL TAP, HOWEVER DESPITE THIS I STILL GET A FEW DROPS OF PETROL WHICH CAN FALL ONTO THE HOT EXHAUST PIPE!!!!!
